Here are some of my recent paintings that will be featured in the Seguin Regional Art Tour. From August 1st and 2nd between 10 am and 5pm, a handful of artists and artisans in the Seguin township are inviting you to their studios.
On October 1st, friends, students and fellow art-lovers congregated at the 2nd Annual SG Fine Art School Art Show held at the Steamwhistle brewery. Thank you to all those that came! These works are still on display until the end of the month, so be sure to take a look and sample some fine brew if you haven't yet done so. Please see the invitation below for details.
This painting was inspired by the ever-present history of the Asbridge's Estate. The house and adjoining studio was occupied by the first settlers arriving from the United States in the 19th century.
Along with my students and guest artists, I will be unveiling some recent works at the historic Steamwhistle Brewery. Please join us Wednesday, October 1 from 6pm-12.
This painting was inspired by my daughter describing how she visited zen gardens in Kin Kaku-Ji. She is on the way to see Temple of the Golden pavilion.

I studied sculpture at the School of Applied Art and Design in Europe where I worked in clay and stone. After moving to Toronto, I continued my education in the Continuing Education Department at the Ontario College of Art.
My work is on display in corporate and private collections in North America and Europe.
I am a member and past elected officer of the Ontario Society of Artists, founded in 1872 which is the oldest art society in Upper Canada.
I teach drawing, acrylic and oil painting at George Brown College in Toronto and at Canadore College in Parry Sound. I am an owner of the Stefan Galvanek Fine Art School and Studio in Toronto.
